Dr1Doctors United to Trinidad is a BECI, Inc. initiative.  Teaming with Dr. Adolfo M. Alonso, MD., P.A. of Baltimore's St Agnes Hospital and a few of his very dedicated and giving medical colleagues, BECI, Inc. will sponsor and send a medical team to Trinidad to provide desperately needed medical treatment for some residents.

Beginning with a fact-finding tripMed1, Dr. Alonso accompanied by BECI President/CEO, Mr. Carl Merez, visited Trinidad in May 2007 to perform a medical needs assessment.  In concert with the South West Regional Health Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, they identified and coordinated the medical services to be provided and scheduled the date of the forthcoming missionary trip.

Dr. Alonso and Mr. Merez have been finalizing the details of this upcoming trip, coordinating with the volunteer medical professionals and providers of donated medical supplies, transportation and shipping services.

This project has been a long-time dream of Mr. Merez and will culminate with the initial visit during 2008.

With generous donations from concerned citizens, organizations and corporations Doctors United to Trinidad is destined to be a tremendous success.
